I sold both of my scrapbook organizers.  I sold the shelf to Kei Kei and the paper racks to Gina!!!  They are both going to VERY good homes!!!

An Era is Coming to an End....

An Era is Coming to an End....

... or at least it is remaining on break!  I haven't scrapbooked, I mean really scrapbooked in years.  I have done digital stuff, but no real scrapbooking.  I guess when things aren't what you picture they should be, it is hard to scrapbook them (or even take the pictures for that matter).

Well, I am moving into Mom's house and will not have room for my big scrapbook stuff.  I am selling them on Craigs List, well I posted them any way.  I can't bare to part with any of my supplies though, maybe one day I will use them.  By that time my glue may be dry and my adhesive may not work, but at least I will have all my fun embellishments!!  Until then, all my stuff will remained packed up and stored!

I got the quote today.... Only $200.00 to remove all the wallpaper.  Ads a few more days on to the project, but it is giving my hand a chance to rest..... It really hurts!

2.  I started packing at my house!

but this is my first one!

3.  My hand is killing me - but I found a brace in the bathroom that I did not know I had, what a blessing!

4.  Tomorrow a painter is coming to take a look at the wallpaper and give me a quote on how much removal would cost (($$$$ a lot I'm sure...... We will see))

5.  Garage Sale will be NEXT weekend (the 28th)

Still got lots of work to do, but it will all come together! 

Work in Progress

Today I painted the trim in my bathroom and some of the trim in my bedroom.  I didn't get as much done as I planned, but I am getting TIRED!! 

My wrist has been sore for a week, then yesterday my elbow started up, and tonight it's my shoulder too!  I am taking tomorrow OFF!!

A Smile

Today I cleaned and prepped my new room for paint. Doesn't sound like a lot, but, it was.... I am sore and tired. Tomorrow the painting of my room starts! After I was done I had to go to Lowe's to return some blinds that I will not be using. 

Anyway.....when I left, I saw this flower and it mad me smile!!!!

Progress

Just a little progress today, but little is better than none!  I got my new closet ready to be painted.  Its all cleaned, vacuumed, dusted, and wiped down!  Tomorrow will be paint day!

Blinds......

So, I have been online pricing blinds for the windows at Mom's house.  I think I am going to go with "Just Blinds".  They look good and I like the price.  I got same samples being sent to Mom's house so we ca pick the colors..... the big question now is holes or no holes!!!

Trim.....

Today I painted ALL the trim in both Emily and Garrett's new rooms, and the inside of Garrett's closet.  I started at 7:00 AM and finished around 5:15 PM (Long Day)!  Next comes the colors.........
I took some "BEFORE" pics today.  I didn't do any after because it doesn't look much different, the trim is just a little brighter.  I'm excited to get the colors on the walls and start moving in!

Break Time

So, today I helped mom organize some of her stuff downstairs.  We want to look good for Easter Sunday.  The bunnies are out on the table and the downstairs is looking spiffy!!!
The best part of helping mom is spending "break time" together on the back porch!  I love you mom!

Grandma's Room

More was accomplished today!  Grandma's furniture is now in her newly painted room!  She is getting settled.  We also got Emily and Garrett's new rooms all ready to paint.  Two days off - tomorrow and Tuesday for doctor's appointments, then Wednesday I will start painting the kids rooms..... of course I will have some before and after pics.  I should have taken pictures before we cleaned out the rooms... Oh well, I am not going to put all that stuff back!!!
