Languages of LOVE

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Here's a good thing to think of before Valentine's Day.......

According to Dr. Gary Chapman in The Five Love Languages there are five different ways that we all like to be loved. The five categories are:
  1. touch
  2. quality time
  3. gifts
  4. service
  5. affirmations
So, what category does "Doing the Super Bowl Dishes before you go golfing all day"  fall into...... just wondering??

I'm just being a little sarcastic, did you notice???

Anyway, I have heard that The Five Love Languages is a very good book.  I think I should give it a look over and maybe it would help me understand myself and my own needs, as well as the needs of those I love.  I also hope that it will help me be able to communicate my needs a little better so I don't get disappointed when they are not met.

SO, WHAT'S YOUR LOVE LANGUAGE????
I think I need them ALL.....
Is that too much to ask??

Christmas Mess....

I will be thankful for our "Christmas Mess".
"One of the most glorious messes in the world is the mess created in the living room on Christmas day. Don't clean it up too quickly."  ~ Andy Rooney

So when it doesn't look like this on the 25th, I won't feel so bad - I will rejoice!!!

It's a great way to look at it!

Merry Christmas!

This will always be at the TOP of my tree!

Putting Up Our Tree

I had a great time with Em, Garrett, Mom, Jordan and Emily's friend Sammi.... Thanks for the memories!!!  Sammi took pictures while we decorated.

He took the nails for me.

Good Friday 2011
One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain,
One day they nailed Him to die on a tree,
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected,
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He.

Hands that healed nations, stretched out on a tree
And took the nails for me.
